Milpitas Unified School District officials say they are doing all they can to achieve the 30 percent reduction in water use from 2013 levels as required by the Santa Clara Valley Water District.
Attempted burglary at local restaurant On Aug. 18 at 3:11 a.m., Milpitas Police Department officers responded to an alarm call at Kalesa restaurant at 1783 N.
Craig Irvin Brayfield, a 54-year-old Milpitas transient, was nabbed following an early morning commercial burglary at Stuft Pizza at 1426 Dempsey Road on Friday, Milpitas Police Department reported.
